Jonathan Daniels may be the most important Civil Rights hero you've never heard about.  Rich and Sandra Wallace aim to correct that injustice with their new book, Blood Brother.  The subtitle says a lot: Jonathan Daniels and His Sacrifice for Civil Rights.  Daniels makes the ultimate sacrifice, and he does so with his eyes open all the way.  He understands the risks of fighting against Southern racism:  "No white outsider here is entirely safe….  The possibility of death, whether immediate or remote, cannot be a deciding factor for me."  But his idealism pushed him forward:  "My freedom depends upon everyone having their freedom."  What an inspiration!

What an inspiration! I'm excited to read this book since rights has a huge place in my heart. Everyone needs freedom especially in being a citizen. What is the world for if we are not ought to make the most out of it? It constantly reminds me of heroes that strove for their countries' freedom. Civil rights heroes are the real men!

Rich and Sandra Wallace just had the right decision. It's true that most of us are familiar with civil rights, but we don't have an idea who are the people behind it, those who fought for it. A book about Jonathan Daniels is definitely a worth-the-read book, and I am willing to spend any amount just for that book. Please keep us updated. As early as now, I am thanking already the Wallace sisters!
